Sasak Girl

It was taken on September 2005. This photograph shows an expression of the Sasak girl who live in the Sembalun Lawang village (1,014 m above sea level), Mount Rinjani base camp. I took the photos in the morning when he prepared to face a rice field with her mother. Her face expression shows dislike against modern civilization, it is reasonable because he lived in the remote farmers in the village environment. I took her picture from far away using the zoom lens in order to get her natural expression.

Segara Anak Lake

Eventhough the batolit still active, Segara Anak Lake contains a lot of fish, called carper. Sasak people like to fishing for a weeks. The go down to Sembalun bring a lot of fish, sell it to traditional market.
